Olivier heads ecosur america operations in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Based in Buenos Aires, he coordinates the group's activities in the area and identifies CDM opportunities for local companies. His longstanding experience in the carbon business and his deep understanding of the regional context are a valuable asset for a successful project development. As the Founder and managing director of Latineco2, Olivier was a pioneer in the Argentine market offering CDM advisory services. Prior to setting up Latineco2, Olivier worked for 6 years at the French Ministry of Finance as a special foreign trade representative in South America. In charge of transportation, environment and industry at the French Embassy in Buenos Aires, Olivier established a MoU between France and Argentina for Kyoto related issues. During this period he maintained close ties with the Designated National Authorities (DNAs) in his area and supported French companies seeking assistance in CDM project development in the sub-region. Olivier holds a Degree in Law and Management from Université de Bordeaux IV and is a certified Bilan Carbone® GHG Auditor by France's ADEME. (Environment & Energy Management Agency) Languages |
